This solo exhibition will be a theatrical and thoughtful installation that encircles the viewer and gives space for reverie. The viewer will encounter an abundance of materials, patterns, figurative and abstract imagery. The multi-layered work will include curious objects, fabric hangings, photographic prints, paintings on paper, and as wallpaper. The work will be a place of uncertainties and contradictions; almost photography, almost painting, almost sculpture, almost performance, almost textiles. The work will collapse the division of sight and touch and teeter between representation, imagination, material, the handmade, and mechanical. The installation will open up unexpected and rhythmic connections across images and matter, ignite the senses, and engender dream-like narratives and expanded notions of environments and ideas of realities. Which, in this digital age of AI, is increasingly relevant.
